Give your business presentations something extra

27 March 2014

It takes more than imagining your audience in their underwear to give a great business presentation.

At Trucking Australia 2014, persuasive presentation expert Michelle Bowden will show delegates how to get results when presenting to colleagues, clients and customers.

Trucking Australia 2014 will be held on Hamilton Island on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 June 2014.

Michelle Bowden is an authority on presentation and influencing skills, and is recognised as a Certified Speaking Professional (the highest international designation for speakers) by the National Speakers Association of Australia.

She will run an optional presentation training session for delegates before the official launch of Trucking Australia 2014.

“About 80 per cent of the population have had some fear or anxiety when it comes to presenting,” Michelle said.

“In my session on Friday, I’ll show delegates how to plan and structure a presentation in just fifteen minutes. When you design your message correctly, you won’t even have to rely on notes.

“If you’ve ever gone to influence a stakeholder and wished you didn’t have to do it because you weren’t quite sure how to approach it, this session will give you the tools you need.

“I’ll also teach delegates how to make sure their message is one that sticks – whether via email, in a small group meeting, or in a large presentation.”

Presentation training with Michelle Bowden starts at 9am on Friday 6 June. This optional session is provided free of charge to registered Trucking Australia 2014 delegates. Places are strictly limited and can be reserved through the online Trucking Australia 2014 booking system.

Trucking Australia 2014 will also include the Kenworth Legends Luncheon, a barbecue hosted by BPW Transpec in Hamilton Island’s front street, and the presentation of the 2014 National Trucking Industry Awards at the ATA Foundation Sponsors Gala Awards Dinner.

Full delegate registration for Trucking Australia 2014 is only $475 (incl GST). Four star accommodation is available at the special event rate of only $270 per night (incl GST).
