ATA announces industry technical award finalists

The ATA has announced today the three finalists for the 2016 Craig Roseneder Award. 

The Craig Roseneder Award recognises technical and maintenance excellence in the workshop by an individual, and celebrates the professionalism of the men and women who work behind the scenes in the trucking industry’s workshops.

The award is sponsored by Castrol Vecton, the world’s leading specialist provider of lubricant solutions.

Nominees for the award needed to have high level of skill, aptitude and dedication to the industry.

ATA Chair, Noelene Watson said “the award is named in honour of the late Craig Roseneder, who was devoted to the development of a safer road transport industry”

“These three finalists are outstanding in their field and demonstrate a high level of safety, expertise and professionalism.”

The ATA are pleased to announce the 2016 Craig Roseneder finalists:

  • Cade Robinson – Borg Manufacturing, Somersby, NSW
  • Scott Gardiner – Star Track, Minchinbury, NSW
  • Dale Hedley, Vellex, Wetherill Park, NSW

The winner of the award will receive full registration to attend the 2017 American Trucking Associations’ Maintenance Council meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition including return airfares to the USA as well as 5 nights premium conference accommodation.

The winner will also receive A$1,500 spending money and complimentary registration to the 2017 ATA/ARTSA Technical and Maintenance Conference.

The award winner will be announced on Tuesday 25 October 2016 at the Castrol Vecton Awards Dinner, part of the 2016 Technical and Maintenance Conference in Melbourne.
