In recognising the synergies between logistics in the military and the road freight industry, Geoff Crouch, Managing Director of Ron Crouch Transport and Vice Chair of the ATA, said the Australian trucking industry will reap benefits from the Prime Minister’s Veterans Employment Program.
The ATA’s TruckSafe accreditation program has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) annual awards for excellence for 2016.
The Australian Trucking Association has welcomed the driver education and training division of Wodonga Institute of TAFE, DECA as an associate member, deepening the close relationship of both organisations and their commitment to improving driver training and working towards a safe, professional and viable trucking industry.
