Be part of our safety summit

02 March 2018

The trucking industry is markedly safer than we were even ten years ago, but more needs to be done.

Governments need to focus on safety when they build new roads and truck rest areas.

Our customers need to understand they have safety obligations.

Too many car drivers don’t know how to share the road safely and spend their time texting, rather than paying attention to the road.

Be part of the industry’s road safety solution at our high energy, interactive safety summit. It’s at Trucking Australia 2018, to be held in Canberra from 18-20 April.

At the summit, you’ll get to put your views, vote on the ideas you want us to take forward and hear from:

The operators: Tim Knowles, Speedie Contractors and Lynley Miners, Miners Transport

The crash investigator: Carolyn Walsh, ATSB Commissioner

The police: Chief Inspector Phil Brooks, NSW Police Force

The safety campaigner: Peter Frazer, SARAH Group.

Attend the summit, go to our workshops and experience all that Trucking Australia 2018 has to offer for only $595 (inc GST). Day registration packages are also available.
