ATA delivering on safety summit promise

13 July 2018

The ATA has joined forces with the Australian Logistics Council to host Australia’s leading supply chain safety event.

The 2018 ALC & ATA Supply Chain Safety & Compliance Summit comes at a critical time for the trucking industry, as changes to the Heavy Vehicle National Law fast approach.

In response to the success of the safety discussion at Trucking Australia in April, ATA Chair Geoff Crouch made a personal commitment to deliver a two-day safety summit.

Featuring both policy discussions and informative workshops, the summit will see the launch of the new ATA/ALC master code by Deputy Prime Minister Michael McCormack.

The summit’s high-level discussions, keynote presentations, panel sessions and interactive workshop sessions are expected to attract more than 300 industry representatives from all levels of the supply chain.

The 2018 ALC & ATA Supply Chain Safety & Compliance Summit will be held from 5-6 September at the Melbourne Park Function Centre.
