The Australian Logistics Council (ALC) and the Australian Trucking Association (ATA) are set to hold the 2019 Supply Chain Safety Summit on 16-17 September 2019 at the Hilton Sydney.
As Australia’s leading supply chain event, this year’s Safety Summit will include topics of interest for all transport modes. It will take a new look at safety management systems and how to move from paper-based safety to conversation-based safety.
The Safety Summit will focus on building a strong safety community by bringing together representatives from all parts of the supply chain to share safety learnings and practical solutions.
Over two days, the Safety Summit will encourage safety conversations through interactive panel sessions and workshops.
This will include updates from regulators and policy makers, technology demonstrations, practical case studies of how various parties are meeting their Chain of Responsibility obligations and discussions on measuring safety performance.
Attendees will also explore how the supply chain can work together to manage various issues such as heavy vehicle safety, dangerous goods, fatigue, mental health and contractor management.
