HVCI Options Development Discussion Paper

26 July 2013

This submission to the Heavy Vehicle Charging and Investment reform (HVCI) recommends that it should implement the short-term recommendations from the independent “A future strategy for road supply and charging in Australia” PricewaterhouseCoopers report.

Commissioned by the ATA in 2012, the report found that the biggest gains in road transport efficiency would come from road agency reform.

The submission also recommends implementing a system allowing for an independent review of road access decisions, as well as the completion of the government’s PBS maps.
