Mass management compliance using air suspensions

Recent initiatives by some consignors and consignees to impose an underload policy when loading bulk product demonstrate an over-cautious approach to chain of responsibility.

This seems to be primarily on the basis that single deck weighbridges cannot readily provide indication of individual axle group masses.

To avoid potentially impacting productivity and negating many of the benefits of High Productivity Vehicles, a technical bulletin has been developed to outline the appropriate practices of reliable mass management using air suspensions.
