Beka Max AutoLube allows trucks to operate 20,000 – 40,000 kms without greasing. This session shows delegates how to fault find and operate the system. Delegates will also learn how to repair and maintain the system.

PC-11 (Proposed Category 11) is widely considered the biggest change the commercial road transport maintenance industry has seen in a decade and Castrol VECTON is on the forefront of launching products with these specs. This session provided information on the two new categories which comprise Proposed Category 11 (API CK-4 and API FA- 4), their benefits and the primary differences over the current technology products.

PRODUCT TRAINING WORKSHOP | STEMCO WHEEL END CLINIC

Axle components in the commercial truck and trailer wheel end system are very important and are directly related to safety. The STEMCO Wheel End Clinic will highlight the importance of wheel end procedures and maintenance and focus on correct hub seal installation and correct bearing adjustment procedures for North American axles. The session was an interactive teardown and re-fit of a hub highlighting hub seal technologies to improve down time. Bearing adjustment will be completed in accordance toRP618 TMC standards.

Brake systems used on commercial truck and trailers are very important and are directly related to the safety and roadworthiness of the commercial vehicle. The STEMCO Foundation Brake Basics & Analysis session highlighted the importance of proper brake maintenance and focus on correct brake adjustments on North American foundation brake. The session highlighted brake balance fundamentals, Brake Adjuster set up, Brake Booster specifications and component failure analysis to help fleets reduce down time and ensure system integrity.
