Registrations now open for Trucking Australia 2014

08 November 2013

Registrations are now open for Trucking Australia 2014, the Australian Trucking Association’s national event where operators can have their say and make a difference to the industry.

Trucking Australia 2014 will be held on Hamilton Island on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 June 2014.

The Chief Executive of the ATA, Stuart St Clair, said the event would build on the success of the first Trucking Australia, which was held in June 2013.

“Trucking Australia 2013 sold out almost a month early, and hosted more trucking operators than any ATA convention since 2006,” Mr St Clair said.

“Many of the ideas raised by delegates at this event have now been ratified by the ATA Council and are going forward into the ATA’s strategic plan.

“Whether you own one truck or manage a fleet, Trucking Australia 2014 is your opportunity to contribute your views, share your experiences and help develop the ATA’s action plans as we address some of the biggest issues facing our industry today.”

Trucking Australia 2014 won’t be all work. Delegates will have plenty of time to network at the famous Kenworth Legends Luncheon and a barbecue hosted by BPW Transpec in the resort’s Front Street. The winners of the National Trucking Industry Awards will be announced at the ATA Foundation Sponsors Gala Awards Dinner on the Saturday night.

Full delegate registration for Trucking Australia 2014 is only $475 (incl GST), and four star accommodation is available at a special event rate of only $270 per night (incl GST).

Delegates will also receive five per cent off their flights for Trucking Australia 2014 when they book with Virgin Australia by Wednesday 4 December. To redeem this offer, use the discount code available on the Trucking Australia 2014 website.
