MinterEllison Building refurbishment completed

20 August 2018

The Australian Trucking Association has completed the refurbishment of the MinterEllison Building at 25 National Circuit, Forrest in Canberra.

The building has undergone an extensive mechanical and architectural upgrade, beginning with the upgrade of the café in August 2016.

The Chair of the ATA, Geoff Crouch, said the ATA opened the building in 2002 to house its national headquarters.

“Initially the building was occupied by the ATA and MinterEllison. Now it’s also home to the Department of Parliamentary Services, Ricoh Imaging and Electronics, the bustling Brew & Brew café, Guardian Early Learning Centre, and three other transport associations: NatRoad, ALRTA and LBRCA,” Mr Crouch said.

“In keeping with changing technology and the diverse needs of our tenants, the modernised building now features state-of-the-art facilities and a 4.5+ star energy rating,” he said.

The MinterEllison Building refurbishments include:

  • Upgraded foyer space with revolving entry doors
  • Contemporary bathroom facilities
  • End of trip facilities
  • Digital directory boards
  • Upgraded plant and equipment, resulting in an increased energy rating
  • Restored driveway and outdoor landscape area.
