Help drive the industry forward at Trucking Australia 2015

21 November 2014

Trucking operators around Australia are invited to make difference to the industry’s future at Trucking Australia 2015, the Australian Trucking Association’s award-winning national event.

Trucking Australia 2015 will be held in Hobart, Tasmania from Thursday 19 to Saturday 21 March 2015.

ATA Chief Executive, Stuart St Clair, said the event was all about turning industry ideas into action.

“Whether you own one truck or manage a fleet, Trucking Australia 2015 is your opportunity to contribute your views and help develop industry action plans,” Mr St Clair said.

“There won’t be lectures from politicians, public servants or the police. Instead, delegates can use the open forums to have their say and let the ATA know what issues should be on its priority list.

“The ideas developed at Trucking Australia 2015 will be used to help develop the ATA’s strategic plan, which determines its lobbying, communications and research priorities.”

Mr St Clair said the event would also celebrate a very special milestone, with the ATA’s 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner taking place on the final evening.

“The Australian Trucking Association has worked to improve the safety, professionalism and viability of the trucking industry for 25 years. There have been a lot of changes in this time,” Mr St Clair said.

“At the Gala Dinner, we will celebrate our achievements over the last 25 years and recognise the contributions made by so many in our industry.

“It’s set to be a great night, with plenty of time for delegates to catch up with many of Australia’s leading transport operators.”

Full delegate registration for Trucking Australia 2015 is just $495.00 (inc. GST). This includes all sessions, the ATA 25th Anniversary Gala Dinner, an opening night auction event, Friday night hosted by BPW Transpec, the MTData business lunch and the Kenworth Legends Luncheon. Accommodation is available at special delegate rates from $190 per night (inc GST).

And the first 150 operators to register for Trucking Australia 2015 will receive a 25th Anniversary commemorative soft shell micro fleece jacket, courtesy of the event’s major sponsors, the ATA Foundation Sponsors: BP Australia, Volvo Trucks and NTI.
